UK MOBILE RETAILER Phones 4U has started selling the HTC Desire X, following its unveiling at IFA in August.
Phones 4U is offering the phone - on certain tariffs at least - with a free pair of Beats by Dr Dre Solo headphones worth £150. To grab a free pair of expensive cans, you'll have to sign up to a £26 a month O2 contract, which also gets you unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB of monthly data.
If you're not that bothered about the free Solo headphones, you can opt for a cheaper £21 24 month contact, which comes with 100 minutes, unlimited texts and 100MB of data.
If the free headphones haven't lured you, maybe the handset's specifications will. A mid-range phone, the HTC Desire X features a 4in 480x800 S-LCD screen, a 1GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, a 5MP rear facing camera, 4GB of internal storage and a 1,650mAh battery.
The handset is also tipped to go on sale at Carphone Warehouse, but it has yet to announce its pricing. µ
