THE RECENTLY ANNOUNCED HTC One X+ has gone up for preorder in the UK, just two days after its unveiling.
That's courtesy of online retailer Clove, which has revealed that the updated HTC One X handset will retail in the UK for £474 SIM free. The listing also reveals the handset's release date as 22 October, which means that the HTC One X+ will start shipping in less than three weeks.
There's no word on the handset's pay monthly pricing yet, although we're expecting the phone to show up at O2.
Announced on Tuesday, the HTC One X+ is essentially a reworked version of the original One X handset, boasting a speedier 1.7GHz quad-core processor, 64GB of internal storage, a 2,100mAh battery and Google's latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.
Like the original, there's also a 4.7in S-LCD2 screen, HTC's updated Sense 4+ user interface with upgraded apps, an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 1.6MP video calling camera, integrated Beats Audio software and support for 4G LTE connectivity. It's still unclear whether EE will be offering the handset on its high-speed LTE network, though. µ
