THE INTEL POWERED Motorola Razr I has started shipping in the UK sooner than expected, thanks to Phones 4U.
The Motorola Razr I is now available at the UK retailer's online shop on contracts with O2.
O2's contract prices for the smartphone start from just £21.50 a month, much cheaper than we expected, which comes with unlimited texts but only 100 minutes and 500MB of monthly data.
Alternatively, punters can opt for a more expensive 24 month £36 contract, which comes with unlimited minutes and texts and 1GB of monthly data.
Phones 4U told The INQUIRER that the first 500 buyers will receive a free pair of Motorolr S305 wireless stereo headphones, worth around £40.
Announced back in September, the Motorola Razr I is the first smartphone to feature a 2GHz Intel chip, which Motorola claims is faster than the majority of dual-core processors on the market. The phone also features a 4.3in edge-to-edge display, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS), an 8MP rear-facing camera with HD 1080p video and integrated NFC technology.
Motorola has told us that as well as Phones4U, the Razr I will also be available through Orange, T-Mobile, Tesco Mobile and Virgin Media. µ
