BRITISH ELECTRONICS FIRM Storage Options has unveiled the UK's most compact tablet, the oddly named Scroll Pocket, which retails for just under £50.
Slotting in at the low end of the firm's Scroll Tablet portfolio that also offers 9.7in, 8in and 7in slates, the Scroll Pocket boasts a much smaller 4.3in capacitive multi-touch display.

Measuring 113x76x12mm and weighing just 128 grams, the postcard sized device runs Google's Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
On the inside, the Scroll Pocket comes with 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded to 32GB with a microSD card. In terms of connectivity it features a miniUSB port for a range of accessories including mini-keyboards and speakers.
Storage Options said in a statement that the Scroll Pocket is designed to offer an alternative to the more traditional sized units and is priced to give people "the opportunity to own a tablet without having to break the bank".
Storage Options said the Scroll Pocket is available on its website for £49.99, however there's no sign of the device on its online store. We've contacted Storage Options to ask why, so check back later for an update. µ
