UK MOBILE OPERATORS O2 and Three have started selling the Sony Xperia T, otherwise known as the official phone of the upcoming James Bond movie.

As you'd expect, Three's pricing is typically cheap. The numerical network is offering a free Sony Xperia T handset for £29 on a £30 a month contract, complete with 500 minutes, 5,000 texts and unlimited monthly data.

Alternatively, it can be picked up for £399.99 on Three under pay as you go, when bought with a £15 top-up.

O2, on the other hand, is offering a free Sony Xperia T smartphone on a 24 month £36 tariff, which comes with unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB of data. This contract also enables customers to upgrade their handset one month early, ideal for getting the next James Bond phone early.

O2's pay as you go pricing is a bit more expensive than Three's, costing £429.99 with a £10 top-up.

Unveiled at IFA back in August, the Xperia T is Sony's latest flagship handset. In terms of specifications it features a 4.6in HD touchscreen, a 13MP HD rear-facing camera and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS). Potential buyers can also look forward to 16GB of internal storage, 50GB of free Dropbox storage, and integrated NFC technology.
