TODAY IS THE DAY Apple fans have been waiting for, as the fruit themed company started selling the Iphone 5.
The INQUIRER team was up bright and early to check out the queue outside Apple's flagship Regent Street store in London, where hundreds of people were eagerly waiting to get their mitts on the latest Idevice. Of course, the opening was announced with the usual whooping and clapping by the Apple store staffers, even if they did forget to unlock the doors at first.
The first Iphone 5 buyer, Richard Wheatcroft, told The INQUIRER that he was planning to sell his two Iphones on Ebay to raise money for his newly established charity, while others quickly sprinted from the store to play with their new toy as soon as possible.
