Sony Xperia Miro

CRIMSON MOBILE NETWORK Vodafone has started selling the Sony Xperia Miro, following the phone's launch back in July.

The Xperia Miro is Sony's latest midrange Android smartphone, featuring an 800MHz single-core processor and a 3.5in 320x480 Bravia touchscreen. However, the phone does come with Google's Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, which offers much slicker performance than Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

The handset is available in four different colours and features a 5MP rear-facing camera, up to 32GB of expandable storage, Xloud music technology, a 1500mAh battery and 3G and WiFi connectivity.

At Vodafone, the handset can be picked up for just £130 on pay as you go. The mobile network isn't offering the Xperia Miro on pay monthly tariffs, but it can be bought at the Carphone Warehouse from just £10 a month. This 24 month O2 contract will get buyers a free Sony Xperia Miro handset, 250 anytime minutes, 5,000 texts and 500MB of data.
