THE INTEL POWERED Motorola Razr I is already up for preorder in the UK, following its launch earlier today.
That's courtesy of SIM free retailer Expansys, which has promptly started taking orders for the Razr I handset. It has revealed that the handset will cost just £344.99 SIM free, much less than many of its dual-core rivals.
Expansys hasn't revealed the handset's release date, but Motorola told us it's likely to be released at the beginning of October.
Announced to much fanfare earlier today at an event in London, the Motorola Razr I is the first smartphone to feature a 2GHz Intel Atom processor. This makes it faster than many of its dual-core rivals, according to Motorola, and gives it an impressive 20 hour battery life.
Other specifications include a 4.3in HD edge-to-edge display, an 8MP rear-facing camera, a VGA webcam, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS), 8GB of internal storage and a Kevlar coated waterproof casing. Unfortunately, the handset won't arrive in the UK with support for 4G LTE connectivity.
If you don't fancy handing over £344.99 for the Motorola Razr I handset, it will also be available to buy through Orange, T-Mobile, Tesco Mobile and Virgin Media.
