NUMERICAL MOBILE NETWORK Three has revealed that it will sell the James Bond phone, otherwise known as the Sony Xperia T.

Sony unveiled the Xperia T at IFA in August, saying that it will feature as the official phone of the new James Bond film Skyfall. That doesn't really impress us much, but the handset's specifications aren't all that bad. It features a 4.6in HD touchscreen with Sony's Bravia engine onboard, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS).

There's also a 13MP rear-facing camera with HD 1080p video, integrated NFC technology, 16GB of internal storage and 50GB of free cloud storage.

Sylvia Chind, head of Devices at Three said, "We're delighted to offer customers the Sony Xperia T, a premium and stylish smartphone. Packed with the very latest technology and top quality features we're confident that there's no need for customers to compromise."

Three has yet to announce when the handset will be landing on its network and remains tight-lipped on the phone's pricing, although we can expect it to offer all-you-can-eat data.

However, UK retailer Phones 4U has already put the Sony Xperia T up for preorder with a 26 September release date and tariffs starting from £26 a month. µ
