THE HONKING BIG Samsung Galaxy Note 2 smartphone has had its price and UK release date revealed, following its unveiling at IFA last month.
UK SIM free retailer Clove.co.uk has revealed that the 16GB Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will fetch £546. Pricing is yet to be announced for the 32GB and 64GB models, suggesting that they might not see a release soon. The online phone shop has also revealed that the phone will be available from mid-October, although it has not announced an exact release date.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is, unsurprisingly, the sequel to the original Galaxy Note. The latest Galaxy Note 2 features a larger 5.5in Super AMOLED HD touchscreen along with a 1.6GHz quad-core processor and microSD memory expansion.
The phone also features support for Samsung's S Pen stylus and Touchwiz user interface, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, an 8MP rear-facing camera with HD 1080p video, a 1.9MP front-facing camera, support for 4G connections and a 3,100mAh battery. It'll also be available in two different colours; marble white and titanium grey.
If you don't fancy coughing up £550 for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, the phone will also be available to buy through UK mobile networks O2 and Three.
