BERLIN: JAPANESE ELECTRONICS FIRM Sony launched a waterproof tablet under its Xperia brand at the IFA electonics trade show Wednesday and The INQUIRER saw a demo of the device in action.
Measuring 241x8.8x174mm, the Sony Xperia Tablet S is thinner and lighter than the original Sony Tablet S, has an Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor and runs the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
Sony said the splash-proof Xperia Tablet S is "designed for real-life use around the home and outdoors", so it can withstand the inevitable drink spills. µ
