THE QUAD CORE LG Optimus 4X HD has arrived in stock at UK retailer Phones 4U, as it aims to compete against the HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy S3.
Phones 4U has become the first UK retailer to offer LG's Optimus 4X HD on pay monthly tariffs, and prices start from a modest £27 a month. This 24 month O2 contract will get you 200 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of monthly data, as well as a free LG Optimus 4X HD handset.
Those of you after the white model might have a bit of a wait on your hands, as the handset is still showing as "coming soon" on the retailer's website. It can be preordered though, with prices identical to those of its black sibling.
£27 a month is a decent price considering the smartphone's specifications, which include a 1.5GHz quad-core processor and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It also features a 4.7in touchscreen, an 8MP rear-facing camera with HD 1080p video, 16GB of internal storage and a 2140mAh battery.
