FRENCH TABLET MAKER Archos unveiled its Android 10in 101 XS tablet today and The INQUIRER attended an exclusive product briefing in London where Archos gave us a demo of the device in action.
Complete with a protective cover board that doubles as a slim line keyboard dock, the 101 XS tablet is the first tablet in the firm's new tenth generation (Gen10) range and will be available from mid-September across Europe for £299.
Housing a 10.1in 1280x800dpi resolution display, the 101 XS tablet is powered by an ARM Cortex multi-core A9 CPU clocked at 1.5GHz and has 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
Running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS), the 101 XS tablet is scheduled for an upgrade to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean sometime in November. µ
