Printing-ink veterans don't take cyberspace journalists too seriously - Roy Greenslade, Guardian Online
GAMES HOUSE Rockstar has released three images of some of the vehicles you will be able to steal and drive, ride and fly in the next installment of its classic Grand Theft Auto series.
The firm has blogged three images, one of a bike, one of a sports car and one of a jet, with the promise that more will come this week.
It has come to something when images like this excite people, but it is a testimony to how good the Grand Theft Auto games are and how anticipated the next release is.
So, we can work out that you might have to don spandex and ride a racer bike, presumably in some sort of race around the fictional Los Santos, which lies in the state of San Andreas.
Cycles first appeared in Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, so it is perhaps fitting that it is here that they make their return.
We can also expect to see the Cheetah sports car, a motor than has appeared in various titles in the GTA canon, and a jet, which again, players will already have had a chance to pilot.
New versions of the game tend to introduce new vehicles, and the original GTA San Andreas gave us a combine harvester for example. So it will be interesting to see what else Rockstar has in its garage. µ
