UK RETAILER Carphone Warehouse announced today that it has started selling Samsung's latest tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1.
Matching the price found at Samsung's own-brand stores, Carphone Warehouse is selling the Galaxy Note 10.1 WiFi only and 3G + WiFi models for £399.99 and £499.99, respectively. However, it looks like the retailer only has 16GB models at present, although the tablet is also available in 32GB and 64GB flavours.
Launched last week, the Galaxy Note 10.1 differs from the rest of Samsung's popular tablet line. The 10.1in device comes with a stylus, which enables users to sketch and make notes on its scratch resistant screen. It also has multitasking and business focused apps baked into Samsung's Touchwiz software, as the firm has aimed its latest tablet at professionals and doodlers.
The tablet also features a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) with an update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean coming later this year, a 5MP rear-facing camera with HD video, a 1.9 megapixel webcam and a 7000mAh battery.
Carphone Warehouse also revealed that until Thursday it will be selling Samsung's Galaxy Note smartphone from just £21 a month, adding more weight to the rumours that a sequel will be launching at IFA next week.
