UK RETAILER Expansys has started taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, revealing that the tablet will be cheaper than we first thought.
Expansys has started taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 16GB WiFi model at £399.99 SIM free, cheaper than the £449 price tag quoted by Handtec earlier this week. The retailer is also selling the Galaxy Note 10.1 16GB 3G and WiFi model, which will cost £499.99 upfront. Both models are available in both black and white, similar to the Apple Ipad.
Announced for the UK earlier this week, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is the spiritual successor to the Galaxy Tab 10.1, offering a similar 10.1in 1280x800 touchscreen.
Improving on Samsung's earlier tablet the Galaxy Note 10.1 also features stylus support, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, a 7,000mAh battery and either 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. Unfortunately, Expansys isn't taking pre-orders for the highest specification models yet.
Samsung was unable to confirm an exact release date for the Galaxy Note 10.1, although it's expected to hit the shelves later this month. µ
