MUSIC STREAMING SERVICE Spotify has made a change to its app for Apple IOS devices, bringing them mobile radio.

The feature is rolling out to premium, read paid for, users, now, and offers what the firm is calling a "stellar radio experience".

'You asked and we listened! Today we're making Premium even more powerful with mobile radio. Now available for Iphone and Ipad," yells the firm from a blog post. "A stellar radio experience is just a click away."

The firm said that it will bring the feature to Android devices soon, and to free users when licensing agreements allow it.

In the US, and thanks to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and US licensing laws, the firm offers a standalone free version of the mobile radio feature to anyone that wants it,

The IOS premium version mirrors the desktop software and lets users create radio stations based on artists, albums or playlists. Spotify will recommend songs, and said that users will be able to tap into millions of them, regardless of where they are.

You can save songs you like into a virtual playlist, meaning that you can listen to them whenever you want.

If you are tempted, a 30 day free trial of the premium Spotify IOS app is available to try. µ
