THE WAIT IS NEARLY OVER for those after a blue Samsung Galaxy S3 handset, as The INQUIRER has been informed that it will be arriving in the UK on 22 June.
It seems that a phone launch rarely goes without a hitch nowadays, and the Samsung Galaxy S3 is a perfect example. Just one day before the phone went on sale Samsung admitted that the 'pebble blue' version had been delayed, and The INQUIRER saw Samsung telling many disappointed customers the same bad news at the phone's UK launch at Stratford Westfield.
However, staff at Samsung's flagship store in Stratford have now told us that its first batch of pebble blue Galaxy S3 handsets will be arriving in just over two weeks on June 22, although they were unable to quote exact numbers. Once it arrives, the blue phone will be available to buy from the store for £499.99 SIM free.
Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4u have also said that they've sent out blue Galaxy S3 devices to those who got in early with pre-orders, although the stores could not say when they will be receiving more stock for those who didn't.
