Virgin Media will run London Underground Olympics WiFi

TELECOM PROVIDER Virgin Media is supplying the London Underground with wireless internet during the Summer Olympics.

Our sister IT news web site V3.co.uk heard the news from the London Mayor's office Digital London director, Kulveer Ranger, today and Virgin has confirmed it.

Speaking at the Digital London event on Wednesday, Ranger revealed that the deal has been signed and should be installed in time for the Olympics in July. µ
