PIG HATING CASUAL GAME Angry Birds has a sequel out soon and since it happens in space it has been launched in space.

Angry Birds, for the uninitiated, asks players to throw birds, angry birds, at pigs, monkeys and other animals, that have stolen their eggs. It's a simple proposition and one that has charmed users everywhere. Chances are, if you use a smartphone, you've played it. This time 'round it takes place in space.

A video recorded on the International Space Station and posted to Youtube introduces us to the next version, where the action takes place in space, and gives us the first look at its gameplay.

Don Pettit, a NASA scientist and engineer, discusses the game, well, more its physics with a plush toy demonstration of trajectories. This is handy since gravity and anti-gravity will feature in the gameplay.

Angry Birds Space will be available to download on 22 March. Angry Birds is the most popular paid for Iphone app of all time in the UK, according to numbers released by Apple to celebrate its 25 billionth app download.

It is also available on other platforms. µ
