TAIWANESE GADGET MAKER Asus has announced it has delayed the bug fixing update for its Transformer Prime tablet.
Last week the firm confirmed a random reboot bug with the Android hybrid tablet and said a fix was on its way. It has now pushed that back to an unknown date because of unidentified problems.

Asus said on Facebook, "As for the TF201 [Transformer Prime] FOTA [firmware over the air] update, we expected that at the end of last week but due to a couple of issues this has had to be pushed back. We apologise for any inconvenience and particularly getting your hopes up on Friday. A rescheduled release date will be announced shortly."
Although the news isn't that good the comments from users mainly thank Asus for being honest about the situation.
The original version of the Transformer is due to receive an upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) this month but Asus still hasn't set a date for it.
"The TF101 [Transformer] ICS update is still expected in February - exact date is not available to us at the moment. As always, when we have a specific date we will let you know," it said. µ

what happened is the .13 OTA update which was supposed to fix the reboot bug, was pushed out to US customers, but after a few issues were reported (battery drain being one), it got pulled and didnt go out to the rest of the world, so theyve taken it back to fix more before rolling it out world wide.
i personally dont have any issues with my prime, still on .11 FW, never had any reboots or wifi issuse im happy waiting for the next update
Jeff Brint's comment is correct. The issue was already fixed in an update from last week. Where do you get your information?
Please send me update, when transformer prime is ready and available.
Thanks
I, and many others, received the update pushed out OTA to our Transformer Primes last Thursday. The update seems to have fixed the reboots and has made the GPS work better.
