SOFTWARE DEVELOPER Google has launched its Chrome web browser for Android Beta release in the Android Market.

According to a Chrome blog post, the Chrome web browser will be available in "select countries and languages" for phones and tablets running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Chrome for Android allows users to access the tabs left open on a computer that is also running Chrome. It also has an autocomplete suggestion feature and the ability to sync bookmarks across different Android devices.

Google said that Chrome for Android is designed "from the ground up" for mobile devices. The firm has "reimagined" tabs so they fit on small screen smartphones as well as on larger screen tablets. Users can flip or swipe between an unlimited number of tabs using intuitive gestures. Meanwhile, Link Preview does away with hunting for links on a web page by automatically zooming in on links to make selecting the precise one you want to open easier.

Google said it has built Chrome for Android "with privacy in mind from the beginning", including incognito mode for private browsing and fine-grained privacy options.

The blog post said, "We're eager to hear your feedback. Finally, we look forward to working closely with the developer community to create a better web on a platform that defines mobile." µ

ITS A BETA!!!

so of course many things will be lacking..

DONT JUST MOAN, TELL GOOGLE! then they will improve the final!!

My main moan is, it is only for ICS.. So all us **decent** owners that do not want to risk ruining/ know how to hack their phones, will still have a few more months to wait for it!!

Next thing is, reports of the 'default' ICS browser looks quite good.. :) here is a PROPER review..
