EVERYONE'S FAVOURITE POSTER GIRL, the Everywhere Girl has resurfaced and is appearing now on the Directgov web site.
The EWG, as it is easiest to call her, made a name for herself by appearing all over the place in a variety of roles and in a selection of hats.
We've seen her working hard for the Navy, for Dell, for Circuit City, for Microsoft, for Gateway and a Minnesota bank, and all the while she was studying at the University of Colorado in Denver.
She was our darling, but we thought we had lost her. But no, she is safe and out of retirement trying to help people get off the sofa, as we learned via the Zios blog web site, which reintroduced her to us.
"Enterprise Clubs can help if you're interested in becoming self-employed or setting up a business. If you're unemployed, Enterprise Clubs offer the opportunity to meet other people who want to be self-employed, people who are self-employed and business advisers," says the blurb next to the EWG. "Find out more, including when you can take part."
Perhaps she got this job by following Directgov's advice and was randomly selected to represent its success stories. Perhaps someone has just stumbled upon her in a photo library.
We don't know, but we are very glad to see her again all the same. µ

Sure hope she's getting royalties. :)
