CES: Acer 10.1in quad-core tablet video demo

TAIWANESE HARDWARE OUTFIT Acer showed off an unnamed tablet ahead of CES 2012. The 10.1in device will feature 1920x1200 resolution and 224ppi screen density. Acer will ship the device with Nvidia's Tegra 3 quad-core 1.3Ghz processor and 1GB of RAM. The device will also be pre-loaded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. µ

Why are the videos really poor quality...?

I can't believe that a tech journalist doesn't have a new phone that can shoot in HD?

power usage an issue with a quad

Even with the thing probably shutting down 2 of the 4 cores most of the time (actually the specs say it has a 5th core that runs most of the simple stuff when the thing is idle) I wonder how long the battery will actually last.

Having to keep a tablet plugged in most of the time when doing normal activities (like laptops in the old days) runs counter to what a tablet is supposed to be.
