Samsung is accused of using the same actress as Apple

KOREAN SMARTPHONE MAKER Samsung has pulled an advert for its Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE tablet from Youtube after it was accused of using the same child actress as its rival, Apple.

According to Mac Observer, questions were raised about whether the same child actress that appeared in an Iphone 4S ad also appeared in Samsung's advert as well.

From what we've seen, the two actresses look very similar indeed, but Samsung's decision to pull the commercial appears to be an admission of guilt.

Although actors and actresses do often appear in ads for multiple products, Samsung uses Cheil for its ad campaigns, while Apple works with Chiat Day.

The latest spat is part of the tit for tat battle that has been taking place between Samsung and Apple for some time.

In November of last year, Samsung released a video that poked fun at Apple and its Iphone users.

Apple and Samsung have had many disagreements about their hardware lately, with the former accusing the latter of "slavishly copying" its designs.
