BROADBAND OUTFIT Talk Talk is the most complained about internet service provider (ISP), according to data from telecoms regulator Ofcom.

The company published its latest complaints data today, revealing the most complained about major telecoms providers between July and September 2011.

Talk Talk was the most complained about ISP between July and September, with 0.77 complaints per 1,000 customers, with issues relating to billing and customer service topping the list.

The least complained about ISP over the same period for the fourth quarter in a row was Virgin Media, with 0.19 complaints per 1,000 customers.

Meanwhile, mobile telecoms complaint levels are much lower than for landline and fixed broadband services.

Mobile operator Three received the most complaints, with 0.14 complaints per 1,000 customers. The complaints were mostly driven by issues relating to disputed charges and customer service issues, Ofcom said.

There was an increase in complaints against Virgin Mobile over the last quarter to 0.07 per 1,000 customers, driven by billing and customer service issues.

The least complained about mobile provider over the same period was O2 with 0.02 complaints per 1,000 customers. µ

No Problems

Any company that manages, on average, over 999 per 1000 with no complaints should be feeling pretty chuffed. If Talk Talk is the worse, how good must the others be?
