Anonymous warns of Lulzxmas
HACKTIVIST GROUP Anonymous has posted a video that celebrates its year to date and suggests more activity over the Christmas period such as attacks on naughty businesses.
"Epic year isnt [it]?" says a caption about half-way through a video that features most of the activities of the group to date and the headlines it has gathered. "And it was just the beginning. Please fasten your seat belts for this Lulz Xmas".
In cuts between videos, Oprah opens the show and there are screengrabbed headlines and articles - the INQUIRER makes an appearance - and the video then borrows from the Charlie Chaplin classic The Great Dictator, specifically a polemic scene that rails against dictatorships and the machine and supports universal brotherhood.
"For those that can hear me I say 'Do not despair... The power that they took from the people will return to the people. You, you the people, have the power. Let us fight for a new world!'" it adds. "Soldiers, in the name of democracy, let us all unite."
The video ends with a quote from Thomas Jefferson, "A government afraid of its citizens is a democracy. Citizens afraid of government is tyranny."
Although there is no information about what the Christmas period or indeed 2012 might hold in store for the hacktivists, there are some clues in the tweets from the loosely organised group.
"We made a list, checked it twice. Gonna find out what companies have been naughty...not nice," says one from the Youranonnews account, "You better watch out! Better not lie! Better not doubt! I'm telling you why, #LulzXmas is comin' to town," adds the Anonymouspress Twitter feed.

If I was a company CEO in dirty global cannibalization business, I would be more afraid of the 'Happy new Lulz'.
I would like to say, that danger for an anonymous attack is higher on night of New Year's Eve, than on christmas day. In some eurepean countries the 24. december (Christmas Eve) is the celebration day, in USA it's 25th, for orotodox christs 'the 3 magi' on January the 6th!
For muslims, jews or atheists it doesn't matter.
But 'new year' is celebrated by more people, cause it's not so culture-specific and it's more noisy!
Companies find easier people, that keep an eye on their computer systems on 24th - 26th December.

On the subject of the video: Rgypt isn't going to be a success story for long, the muslim nutters will rule and not only reduce the rights of women but they will also create a new huge war in the region as soon as they start firing rockets from egypt into israel and start supporting hamas with arms.
I expect their tune will change when they are on the inside looking out.
