FINNISH PHONE MAKER Nokia's Lumia 710 smartphone will tip up on 6 January in the UK, according to one online retailer.
Digital-phone.co.uk will be selling the Lumia 710 as of 6 January for £269 SIM-free. However, other online retailers including Play, Clove and Expansys don't have a price or release date for the handset yet.

Nokia hasn't confirmed this as the launch date and told us, "As previously stated, the planned launch timings for the highly anticipated Lumia 710 in the UK remains as Q1 2012."
The Lumia 710 is a budget version of the Lumia 800, and both were announced at Nokia World in October. Nokia hasn't said why the launch of the Lumia 710 is months after the Lumia 800 came out.
When it does tip up, the Lumia 710 will feature a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, 3.7in touchscreen, 8GB of internal storage and a 5MP camera. Like its older brother it will run Microsoft's Windows Phone 7.5 Mango operating system. µ
