FRUIT THEMED Apple will launch LTE enabled Iphone 5 and Ipad 3 devices next year, according to reports.
According to Japanese web site Nikkeibp, Japan's largest mobile operator NTT Docomo is in talks to launch an LTE Ipad in the Summer of 2012 followed by an LTE Iphone 5 in the Autumn.
Reports suggest that Apple CEO Tim Cook met with NTT Docomo president Kiyoyuki Tsujimura and VP Takashi Yamada earlier this month, and the companies have already agreed terms.
However, according to the Wall Street Journal, NTT Docomo said it hadn't reached an agreement with the cappuccino company and that the reports weren't true.
An NTT Docomo spokesman said the company is "not in any specific talks" with Apple on the Ipad or Iphone.
We have contacted NTT Docomo and will let you know if we get a reply.
In most cases with Apple, there's no smoke without fire, and it is perfectly feasible that the pair could be in discussions.
Besides, an LTE enabled smartphone is pretty useless in the UK market, and will be until the mobile operators build their 4G networks, which are not expected until at least 2013. µ

They are late to the party and will tell everyone they invented LTE and had it out first....
Since when is Apple a "cappuccino company"?
Are these the same reports that said the next iPhone wasn't going to look anything like the 4?
