Apple’s IOS 5 has a secret autocorrect bar
FRUIT THEMED GADGET SELLER Apple's IOS 5 has a secret Android like autocorrect keyboard bar, it has been revealed.
According to 9to5mac, the bar lets users pick from a series of word choices. It can be enabled by downloading Ibackupbot, backing up your Iphone in Itunes, then opening Ibackupbot and loading it.
Then, you go to Find Library/Preferences/com.apple.keyboard.plist and open the file. If your software isn't registered you'll have to press cancel and then it will open.
After you've done that, you need to add the code < key>KeyboardAutocorrectionLists < /key> < string>YES < /string> and then save the modifications. After that, you need to restore from backup within Ibackupbot.
This revelation comes after reports earlier this week that some jailbreakers had figured out how to enable a hidden panorama camera in IOS 5. The user can turn on panorama mode by clicking the panorama button on the camera options popover, then moving their phone in the air. µ

Apple just took their time with this feature just to make sure it was done right!!!!
Opera on Wii has had this feature for many years. The PS3 has something similar too, not a bar but a column of suggestions.
Windows Mobile had this feature for as long as I can remember and the new Windows Phone platform has it too.
This is nothing new and surprising that Apple is finally adding this feature after it's been absent for so long.
