MSI launches its Afterburner app for IOS

COMPONENT VENDOR Micro-Star International (MSI) has launched an app for IOS specifically for overclocking your graphics card.

The Afterburner app allows users to monitor and control the settings of a graphics card in real time. It works over a WiFi network and is free to download from the Apple App Store.

MSI said, "MSI has now released the Afterburner App for the iOS platform! iPhone and iPad devices can now all download and install the Afterburner app from the App Store to wirelessly monitor and overclock graphics cards over a WiFi network!"

From the graphical interface of the app the graphics card can be monitored and adjusted in a number of ways. The display shows the core temperature, frequency, memory clock speed, and fan speed. It also includes control over the graphics card's core and memory frequencies, fan speed, and the proprietary triple overvoltage function.

You will need Afterburner running on your PC and IOS version 4.x or higher for the system to work.

The Afterburner app has been available for Android devices for a few months and has a rating of four and a half stars on the Android Market. µ
