PHONE MAKER Sony Ericsson's upcoming handset, the Xperia Arc HD has been leaked on the internet.

Going by the images, the handset will join the Galaxy Nexus in providing a HD 720p resolution display, according to Justamp. The handset is called the Nozomi but has been widely nicknamed the Xperia Arc HD.
The handset, whatever it's called, has a 4.3in screen with 720x1280 resolution. By our calculations this comes out at 340ppi, one of the highest pixel densities we've seen on a smartphone.

It also has an ARMv7 processor, 691MB of RAM and Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread. It's possible that Sony Ericsson will upgrade the phone to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich before launch.
Compared to the firm's recent Xperia line, the physical buttons that we normally see have been dropped on the Nozomi. It also looks extremely thin with a blue light on both the front and rear of the device. We'll have to wait and see if it can beat the 7.1mm profile of the Motorola Razr. µ
