ONLINE RETAILER Clove has announced a delay of a week for the Motorola Razr smartphone.
The Razr is Motorola's latest and greatest smartphone and a revival of its most famous brand. Clove had the phone due to arrive tomorrow but this now has been push back to next week.
Clove said, "This is just a quick message to say that the first stock of the Motorola RAZR that was due to arrive tomorrow has been delayed until next week, week commencing the 7th November."
"This delay is quite common with brand new devices but we would have liked it if it had arrived as originally planned," it added.
Expansys is expecting stock of the handset in four days time whilst Amazon has a release date of 11 November. Clove remains the cheapest of the three with a price of £454 compared to £474.
When it eventually tips up, the Razr will have a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, an 8MP camera with HD 1080p video capture and a 4.3in Super AMOLED qHD touchscreen display.
If you like your phone to be thin then the Razr should be a tempter at just 7.1mm thick. For a better look at the device before it becomes available, watch our video demo. µ

It's one thing for Samsung, a Korean company to release the new Nexus handset in other nations before its introduction into the USA. However, think about this when you think about the Motorola RAZR: It would be bad form for an American company to release a top product outside the USA before its released here. If it's released elsewhere on the same day as the United States, that's a much better procedure from a public relations perspective.
