ON A MISSION to dominate the smartphone market, Samsung is in full swing as it launched the Galaxy Note on Thursday evening in London.
The hybrid smartphone tablet device features a 5.3in WXGA Super AMOLED screen with 1,280x800 resolution and is powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core processor. Samsung has also included a S-Pen stylus to enable touchscreen interaction with documents and images.
The Galaxy Note will start shipping in the UK on 2 November and will come preloaded with Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Samsung plans to roll out the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update to the Galaxy Note shortly after release. µ
