Apple posts Jobs’ ceremony online

Public can watch celebration of Apple boss
Mon Oct 24 2011, 10:01

CAPPUCCINO COMPANY Apple has posted the video of its in-house celebration of Steve Jobs' life online so that anyone can watch it.

The memorial saw Apple close its stores for three hours last week so that all of its staff could watch the ceremony that was held on-site at its headquarters campus in Cupertino, CA.

As well as a history of the departed Apple co-founder and the products he brought to market, the memorial included performances by Coldplay and Norah Jones, according to reports last week.

It was an intensely private affair, and while Apple Stores had their windows shuttered during the event so that staff could watch a video of the proceedings, so too was the Apple campus free of journalists and outsiders.

At the time of writing, the page is asking users to return later to view the video. µ
