ONLINE GADGET RETAILER Firebox can make a portrait poster of your Twitter profile picture using just your personal tweets.
The poster is a slightly bizarre but intriguing product that uses solely your Twitter posts to create a portrait of your profile picture. It costs £24 and all you need to do is provide your name on Twitter and make sure your Twitter feed is publicly available. In theory you could get anyone's poster made.
Firebox said, "The Twitter Poster is a unique personalised print of your Twitter profile picture, made entirely from your own tweets! Packed with all of your insights, musings, recommendations, shout-outs and more, it's the most insightful, immediate and revealing self-portrait you could ever own."
The poster measures 24in by 24in, uses an 18pt font size and typically uses about 230 tweets to create the masterpiece. If you haven't tweeted enough then Firebox will increase the font size to fill the space.
With the 18pt font size you can read the text from up to 2 metres away from the poster. Of course, the firm adds colour to enable the image to emerge from all the text, @ signs and hash tags.
You can use the Firebox web site to preview what your poster will look like. We tried with the The INQUIRER's Twitter feed and the result was pretty cool. If you just want to make your profile picture look a bit different, you can use the preview to save the image and upload it to Twitter. µ
