Viewsonic launches Viewpad 10e

Android 'value' tablet will be available in November

GADGET MAKER Viewsonic is launching the Viewpad 10e, a 9.7 inch, 4:3 aspect ratio Android "value" tablet.

The device is 9.1mm thick and weighs 620grams. It is powered by a 1Ghz Cortex A8 processor, and has 4GB of built-in storage that can be expanded with an additional 32GB via the microSD slot.

viewpad10eThe miniHDMI connector offers a display output of up to HD 720p resolution, and the Amazon Kindle app is pre-installed with access to 700k-plus books, magazines and papers.

Meanwhile, the Viewspad 10e includes a market place application that allows access to additional applications and games.

Viewscene 3D provides a customisable 3D style user interface with 16 customisable panels, intelligent interactive grouping, 3D style widgets and multiple time zone support.

The Viewsonic Viewpad 10e will be available from the beginning of November initially in the UK, with pricing released at time of launch. µ
