KOREAN ELECTRONICS MAKER Samsung has launched another Galaxy tablet device called the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus.
The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, which joins the Galaxy Tab 7.7, 8.9 and 10.1 devices, has a 7in WSVGA display with DivX multi-codec support, weighs 345g and measures 9.96mm thick.
It runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb and has a 1.2GHz dual core processor. It also has Adobe Flash and HSPA+ connectivity, which claims to provide download speeds up to three times faster than a conventional HSPA connection.
The device has HD video capability and social networking readers and a music hub perfect for watching films, and playing games. It can also be used as a 'universal home entertainment remote control', Samsung said.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus will be available at a range of UK retailers later this year.
Simon Stanford, MD of Mobile at Samsung UK and Ireland said, "The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus packs power and productivity into a lightweight design. The latest addition to Samsung's Galaxy Tab range demonstrates our ongoing dedication to designing a variety of premium tablets and continued innovation to suit different needs and lifestyles. We are delighted to be able to introduce the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus to the Galaxy family in the UK later this year." µ

It has a 3G -radio- connection, but emphatically, Android 3.x isn't for phones. So this presumably isn't a cell phone. But it does have features such as "Google Talk" and "Receiver Mode". I'm confused.
it seems to have a 3G+ phone included
If it really replaces Galaxy Tab in EU
with a decent phone software then I'm in
although I was expecting LTE/4G
for faster downloading
This Phone+Tablet I'll use for banking+e-mail
It'll replace my old hp dual-core notebook,
which doesn't fit into my pocket.
or...
should I wait for 4G+BlueTooth 4 Low Power?
Hmmmm....?
BTW: I'm still using a 7yr old Nokia 7710 touch phone
