WE THOUGHT THE Iphone rumour mill had reached its peak, that is, until we saw this picture of what someone claims is the Iphone 5 packaging. Except it's not the Iphone 5, it's called the Iphone 4S.
Cult of Mac has published a picture of what one of its readers claims is the packaging label barcode for the Iphone 4S, in white with 16GB of internal storage.
According to the label, the part number will be MD239F/A. All other information that could be used to identify the device has been obscured.
Although it could be photoshopped, it also supports the rumour that Apple will be launching not one but two Iphones next Tuesday, 4 October. The first could be a minor upgrade to the Iphone 4 and the second might be the 'premium' model, the Iphone 5.
Earlier this month, the shape of Apple's upcoming Iphone 5 was apparently revealed when accessories maker Case-Mate 'leaked' images of a case for the device.
Before that, we reported that fruit themed toy seller Apple had lost another Iphone prototype in a bar.
As to whether any more rumours will surface before next Tuesday, we'll say it's probable. µ
