Anonymous wants to occupy the planet

First Wall Street, then the world
Wed Sep 28 2011, 15:04

HACKTIVIST GROUP Anonymous is calling on its members to take the momentum surrounding its occupation of Wall Street and spread it across the globe.

A video message posted to Youtube by the Anonpress shows the usual masked figure intoning the group's plans over a clanging soundtrack. They rarely make for enjoyable viewing, but the message is there, and the message is to protest everywhere.

Protests are already planned globally, such as an occupation of the London Canary Wharf financial district, and the group said it wants to take its "Tienanmen Square moment" further.

"This is about a collective 99.9 per cent that will not longer stand for corruption and greed that is rampant in our governing bodies. Spread this message like the plague," says the faceless narrator.

"This is part of a global movement. The more authoritarian they act the more we will resist. We do not forgive. we do not forget. We are silent no more."

The day will take place next month, and could be on October 31 when the occupation of London is expected to start. Until then the group has a long list of cities that have recently started supporting groups.

With occupations of Chicago and Los Angeles also slated to begin the group might start to live up to its promise that it is "everywhere and legion". µ

They weren't referring to China, yo.

It's "Tahrir Square".

They'll get tired and go home

When they get bored and tired they will go home. If they act up they'll go to jail. Few people really support the protest so it's a futile effort from what I see.

Yawn. Guess those 60s hippies are back, I sure hope those guys were pretty flowery dresses again, that makes it so easy to take them seriously.

All say "Wall st is corrupt", no one shows exact details

Same for the gov reps - all accuse them in corruption. No one caught.

Show to average Joe exactly how they screw the Wall Street and the government, kiddies, if u really know

Otherwise sounds like an exercise in demagogy and large masses manipulation. Who pays their weeks of absence? Wall Street? Lol

Occupy!

The movement is gaining momentum after a week and a half and Occupy movements are popping up all over the country! Stand up together and use your voice to give to those without. Tax the rich and feed the poor- you are the 99%! See my Occupy Wall Street painting and Anonymous homage on my artist’s blog at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2011/09/occupywallstreet.html where you can also see videos of the protests and police brutality as well as get other sources for real coverage of the movement.
