JAPANESE COMPUTER GIANT Fujitsu has announced that its upcoming phones and tablets will come under the 'Arrows' brand.
The company has confirmed that a range of smartphones and tablet devices will be available next month. Quite often we don't report on Fujitsu products because they are usualy only bound for the Japanese market, but this is set to change.
Fujitsu said, "As a new brand that looks not only to Japan but to the world, ARROWS products seek to meet the needs of customers everywhere, working with them to create new value."
The first Arrows branded device to tip up will be the complexly named "Docomo Tablet ARROWS Tab LTE F-01D". This is the only information we have on the mystery tablet, but we assume that it will have LTE technology.
Fujitsu said the brand is "emblematic of the sense of speed, spirit of innovation and performance power of Fujitsu smartphones and tablet PCs". We imagine that the device won't have little pictures of aeroplanes with red rising sun markings, though. µ

At least not for me. Arrow, maybe, but only if there too they're trying to disguise Japanese origin. Or express a greeting. (Roy Hudd in The News Huddlines, passim.)
By the way, at time of comment, the headline refers to "Fujisu", omitting the T. Which takes longer to arrive in Japan, of course.
