Report suggests 4 October Iphone 5 launch

The rumour list grows

FLOGGER OF SHINY TOYS Apple might launch its upcoming Iphone 5 on 4 October, reports suggest.

According to Allthingsd, sources close to the firm said the date was chosen by the cappuccino company to showcase its next generation Iphone in advance.

The sources added that the plan is to make the smartphone available within a few weeks after the announcement.

This latest news fuels the usual rumour mill hype around Apple's upcoming launch. Last week the shape of Apple's upcoming Iphone 5 was apparently revealed when accessories maker Case-Mate 'leaked' images of a case for the device.

Meanwhile, earlier this month we reported that fruit themed toy seller Apple had lost another Iphone prototype in a bar. µ

Anything from Apple?

... or are they letting the rumour mill do their marketing for them?

No specs, no fixed date, no idea what the thing even looks like but I bet you lot all want one. How long can they keep customers in the dark for before they get fed up and go elswhere? Years it seems, the public aren't sick of being treated like idiots yet
