US PHONE MAKER Motorola's Defy+ smartphone will be on sale before the end of the month, priced from £246.
A lot of mobile phones get delayed for one reason or another, but the Defy+ will launch on time as Motorola promised last month. The earliest you will be able to get the handset will be from Play which has the release date of 23 September and a price of £269.

If you want to pay a bit less and don't mind waiting a few more days, Clove has announced that it will be selling the phone for £246 on 30 September. Expansys has a price of £259 but no date.
Clove said, "The DEFY was a great handset the first time round, so even more can be expected of Motorola's follow up device. Roll on the 30th September!"
The Defy+, as Clove said, is a follow on model and upgraded version of the Defy. This time the handset has a slightly faster 1GHz processor, Android 2.3 Gingerbread and a better battery. It is also water resistant, scratch resistant and has a dust proof design for those who like a rugged and hard wearing gadget.
Alain Mutricy, SVP of portfolio and device product management at Motorola said, "Motorola DEFY+, our latest life proof smartphone, delivers the endurance and design strength to keep up with even the most demanding lifestyles, along with the social and entertainment capabilities that put friends and fun in easy reach." µ
