HACKTIVIST GROUP Anonymous will release its long-expected Refref distributed denial of service software tomorrow during its peaceful Occupy Wall Street protests.
The group said today that the software is ready for release but will be made available during the sit in and camp out at the US financial district on 17 September.
"We will be releasing #RefRef Saturday, September 17th at Noon GMT. 7AM NYC and 4AM LA - In accordance with #OccupyWallStreet," wrote the group on the Anonops news web site.
"Thank you so much for your time and effort, and #Anonymous, Iprobabilities of REVOLUTION!" µ

As much as I welcome anonymous, and clever individuals, this tool is somewhat futile.
Why would you exploit SQL Injection to cause DoS?
Doesn't make any sense.
Maybe he's just a 'proud' sony ps3 user who doesn't give a damn that he lives more and more in bondage as long as he can play his stupid games and give his money to sony and other such.. masters.
But whatever the details, it remains sad.
As we've seen lately Antisec members are being routinely arrested around the globe and losing support for their criminal activities.
Dear John,
Judging by your brain-washed comment, I am willing to bet all my equity that you are a USA citizen.
How sad for such a great nation of the past, to have produced such morons, incapable of independent thought as yourself, in today's present.
Then again, you could be just a troll working for the man, in which case you're in charge of doing the brainwashing. In which case, I wish all the worst on you.

More DDoS attacks will just get more criminals off to prison. It's all good.
