Microsoft claims Windows 8 will scale

AT ITS BUILD CONFERENCE in Anaheim, California, Microsoft laid out its vision for what appears to be its most ambitious Windows operating system yet.
Our sister IT news web site V3.co.uk was there when Steven Sinofsky, VP of Microsoft's Windows division opened its Build conference, which is all about the company's upcoming Windows 8. That will run on everything from tablets to servers, he claimed, and you can read all about what Microsoft plans for Windows 8 over there. µ

Apparently the cover story strategy now is ARM version for tablets, but it's a fairly simple port, having ruled out legacy support. And the implicit message is that W7 is crap -- true -- need to buy the current facelift.
Just stick with XP, it's all you need.
