KOREAN HARDWARE GIANT Samsung has announced that Bada 2.0 will be rolled out to existing Bada handsets in the fourth quarter.

It seems that Samsung is pushing its Bada operating system even further than just new handsets with a decision to roll out version 2.0 to old Wave handsets. The company confirmed that the upgrade will be available in the fourth quarter, starting in Europe.

Via its Bada Twitter page, Samsung said, "The 2.0 upgrade for Wave devices will be available from 4Q (starting Europe) in different countries gradually"

Another tweet confirmed that the upgrade will be available to all Wave devices, but with a warning that features could vary depending on the phone's specifications such as its processor and memory size.

Samsung's Wave 3, M and Y handsets will all come pre-loaded with Bada 2.0 and are due to tip up next month. The Wave 3 will be the flagship handset with a 4in AMOLED touchscreen, a 1.4GHz processor and a 5MP rear facing camera in a 9.9mm thick case. µ
