Ipad Stand Mall announces a $349 stand

TABLET STAND MAKER Ipad Stand Mall has announced its Aluminium Floor Stand called Standalu for the price of just $349.

The company said the Standalu "may be the most expensive stand for a tablet" and we think it might be right. The stand has three flexible joints so you can adjust the viewing position with a high degree of control.

The firm said, "StandAlu is the perfect solution to hold the iPad next to your bed and sofa or use it together with iPad2 as a information kiosk at trade shows, showroom, hotel and restaurants."

The stand also has 'supporting arms', which means that it's not limited to Apple products and will grab any similar sized device, such as other tablets with a 10.1in screen.

A wooden desk type part means users can place a wireless keyboard to use with the tablet or other items such as a book or a drink.

The firm claims the Standalu can hold your Ipad 2 in "infinite positions" and even asked in the press release we were sent, "Will you pay US$349 for a stand of your iPad2?"

If you want a stand that costs almost as much as the Ipad 2 itself and will mean that your Ipad 2 will dominate any room it's in, then we guess the answer might be yes. µ
