LAPTOP MAKER Dell has announced the latest addition to its Inspiron range of laptops in the 14z.

Dell unveiled the Inspiron 14z at this year's IFA show in Berlin, and it is designed to be ultra-mobile and powerful. The laptop will be available first through Best Buy stores in the UK later this month.

Angus Hegarty, VP of Dell's Consumer SMB business said, "The new Inspiron 14z is one of the most powerful, ultra-thin Inspiron laptops we've ever offered.

"Today's 'on-the-go' lifestyle demands portability and power, so you can stay connected and be productive wherever you are."

Content can be streamed wirelessly with Intel Wireless Display or users can use the on-board HDMI port. Other connectivity will include WiFi, Bluetooth, USB 3.0 and a media card reader.

The Inspiron 14z will also feature Dell Stage, which is a user interface for quick access to content such as music, photo and video.

The 14z will be available in 'Diamond Black' or 'Fire Red' colours, will be 23.87mm at its thinnest point and will weigh 1.9kg. µ
