MOBILE APPS SERVICE PROVIDER Meme Apps has launched its Meme IDE Beta software for cross-platform mobile application development.
The integrated development environment (IDE) software has been built by application developers and programmers and allows developers to create applications for multiple operating systems in one go. Meme IDE currently supports Windows Mobile 6.5 and Android 2.1+ with plans to add Blackberry and IOS in the future.
Simon Monk, CTO at Meme Apps said, "We aim to shatter the barriers and complexities experienced by developers when building for multiple platforms by creating a unique, highly differentiated development environment."

The IDE is based on the Eclipse framework and integrates vendor software development kits (SDKs) with Meme Script, which is a programming syntax based on C#, C++ and Java.
The software is available free of charge and is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux.
Mema Apps said, "Developers can have a unified IDE interface for all supported SDKs making the deployment of quality professional business apps easy and very fast."
The interface offers quicker build times using a drag and drop method, which apparently results in 90 per cent less code. A cross-platform screen allows you to view apps on different devices as you go and there are also tutorials and video demos for novice developers. µ
