MAKER OF EXPENSIVE PRINTER INK HP's Touchpad price cuts have hit the UK, with Currys and PC World selling the Touchpad 16GB model for £89.

From tomorrow morning, Dixons, Currys and PC World stores, all part of DSG group, will sell HP's tablet devices at £89 for the 16GB model and £115 for the 32GB model.

DSG online will also sell the device from 6pm tonight. We wonder if there will be any left by tomorrow morning.

Mark Webb of Dixons said on Twitter, "Currys & PC World stores: HP Touchpad SALE CONFIRMED FROM TUESDAY AM, Limited Stock £89 for the 16gb and £115 for the 32gb."

The INQUIRER has contacted Best Buy UK about whether it is going to cut the price of the Touchpads, but as yet has not heard back.

It comes after HP's Touchpad was cut to around $99 for the 16GB model on many websites in the US.

Best Buy and HP are also offering consumers who had bought the device after June this year a refund of the price difference. µ
